It will also discuss issues facing global rice production and consumption. The two-day session will also be attended by partner organizations and leading experts in the ‘rice value chain', together with major donors, developing agencies, advocacy groups and research organizations in making policy and technical decisions on the strategic orientation of the IRC. The 22nd Session of the International Rice Commission will be organized by FAO, under the auspices of the French Ministère de l'Agriculture, de l'Alimentation, de la Pêche, de la Ruralité et de l'Aménagement du Territoire.
