The HLPE -High Level Panel of Experts on Food Security and Nutrition- will meetfor the first time in Montpellier (Agropolis International) from 29th November to 1st December 2016

Chaired by Patrick Caron (France), formerly the General Delegate for Research and Strategy at CIRAD,

On this occasion, Agropolis International and UNESCO Chair in World Food Systems invites all the institutional, economic, research and civil society stakeholders interested to take part in the public seminar

About the HLPE

HLPE

The High Level Panel of Experts (HLPE) on food security and nutrition has been created as part of the reform of the international governance of food security to advise the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) which is the foremost intergovernmental and international platform dealing with food security and nutrition.

The Steering Committee composed of 15 internationally recognized experts in a variety of food security and nutrition related fields is Chaired by Mr Patrick Caron (France), formerly the General Delegate for Research and Strategy at Cirad.
