Patrick Caron is a researcher at CIRAD, Vice-President for International Affairs at the University of Montpellier and International Director of the I-SITE MUSE.

International recognition for Patrick Caron, President of Agropolis International: he becomes a member of the Board of Directors of the CGIAR Patrick Caron, President of Agropolis International is appointed for a three-year term by the CGIAR as one of the 08 international members of its Board (Board of Directors).
The CGIAR, whose headquarters are based at Agropolis International, Montpellier, wishes, with its new Board, to lead the "One CGIAR" reform which aims in particular to build a unified governance model and institutional integration envisioned for CGIAR, to restructure research programs around major scientific issues: climate change, nutrition, health, ... and, beyond that, to play a major role in the orchestration of international research.
