10.11.12 : Over one hundred international researchers have registered in the French courses set up by LR Euraxess Centre, from October to December, 2012.This language training which includes 20 hours of evening courses aims at facilitating the integration of non French-speaking scientists.Newcomers have taken evaluation tests at IAM.M French Centre to allow their distribution among the various levels available.

For the record, LR Euraxess Centre is animated by Agropolis International and labellised by the European Commission; its mission is to assist mobile scientists during their stay in France.

Set up by the European Commission in 2004, the Mobility Centres (renamed Euraxess Services Centres in 2008) are labelised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The Euraxess Languedoc-Roussillon center, managed by Agropolis International, offers numerous services.

The EURAXESS Services Centre of Montpellier Languedoc Roussillon assists mobile researchers and their family in every step of their move; it is dedicated to PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, visiting researchers and professors hosted in higher education and research institutions.

21th -23th March 2011 : Euraxess bi-annual European conference Limassol, Cyprus.

The Languedoc-Roussillon Euraxess Services Centre/Agropolis International participated in the 5th Euraxess Conference. This bi-annual Conference deals with issues related to the researchers' mobility in Europe ; 230 participants from 35 countries attended the Conference including 12 representatives from France.  The Conference aimed at allowing exchanges between the Services Centres of the different countries and enhancing initiatives and promotion tools set up by the European Commission on 4 main issues: Rights (researchers' rights), Jobs (positions, fellowships and registration of CV) Services (assistance), Links (European offices in third countries).
