Visit of Campinas delegation (Brazil) to Agropolis International (Montpellier-France), 20 to 25 March 2016


Following the signature in June 2015 of an agreement for scientific and technical cooperation between Agropolis International and several Brazilian organizations of Campinas agro-cluster (UNICAMP, Techno Park Campinas, Secretary of State for Agriculture, SDECTI and Campinas Town Council), and a visited Campus Agropolis in November, a new visite is scheduled in Montpellier, from 20 to 25 March 2015.


This political and institutional visit aims to enhance the development of Agropolo by meeting the stakeholders of the regional area:

  • representatives of the local authorities: the LR-MP Region, Métropole Montpellier Méditerranée, Conseil Départemental de l’Hérault

  • stakeholders involved in higher education and research : Agropolis International Association and several member institutions (Cirad, Inra, IRD, IRSTEA, Montpellier SupAgro/Institut des régions chaudes, Labex Embrapa), Fondation Agropolis, CVT Valorisation Sud

  • stakeholders of regional innovation entities involved in agro-food issues:
    • SATT AxLR (technology transfer acceleration company)
    • Languedoc-Roussillon Incubation (LRI)
    • Coop de France Languedoc-Roussillon
    • Competitiveness Cluster Qualiméditerranée
    • Transferts LR (Regional innovation agency)

Meetings with the Business & Innovation Centre (BIC) of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole and the dynamic French Tech will be scheduled.
