Abstract

The European directive has two essential objectives for the uderground waters  : first not to constitute an obstacle to the improvement of the state of surface water and the restoration of the associated ecosystems, second to ensure the progressive reduction of the underground water pollution and to prevent the aggravation of their pollution...
