Abstract

Many economic activities in the Briançon area are considered: irrigation, coal mines, textile workshops and factories, medical establishements… The development and recession of these innovations versus the time are given by a simple mathematical model. Agreement with many 55 years Kondratiev cycles is generally perfect and the historical framework is discussed. Influence of the famous medieval community, so called " Grand Escarton ", is underlined to analyse different aspects of these insdustrial activities.
