Abstract

The document “DELIBERATIONS OF THE INSTITUTIONAL COMMITTEE” contains the deliberations adopted by the Institutional Committee (from March 1999 to March 2004) in carrying out its duties and in connection with special circumstances such as dry spell in the Piave river basin.  The Institutional Committee, which is a department of the Alto Adriatico basin Authority, exercises political and administrative powers and, more particularly ratifies all phases of the elaboration and adoption procedure of the river basin plan, from the criteria and methods of the start up related to the piano project up to the adoption of the final project, monitoring also times and ways of  enforcement of the limitations contained in such project.
Such deliberations concern safeguard measure adoption related to the piano project for the water resource management in the Piave basin, the changes to these measures, the adoption of the “abridged plan” project for hydraulic safety in the medium (central) and low course, and the adoption of the “abridged version of the plan” for water resource management.
