Land use classification in Paese and Istrana (west zone of Destra Piave district), province of Treviso, based on Landsat TM images for 2002. Main irrigated summer crops are represented (mais, soia, sugarbeet). Two kinds of land use are shown. The first link directly to antropic use : urban zones (centri storici), airport (aeroporto), residences, rural concentrations (nuclei rurali), dumping zones (discariche) and comercial zones (servizi). The second category is linked to agriculture : non irrigated cultures (colture non irrigue), corn (mais), sugar beet (barbabietola), soya (soia) and prairie (prato).
